When You Reserve With Us

Where did Alex Gray go to create his newest masterpiece?

Where did Steven Tyler bless himself in meditation for his birthday?

Where did Former Prime Minister of Romania Dacian Ciolos go to get off-grid?

Where did they all go to get away from it all? Maui Eco Retreat was perfect for them, but it is not for everyone. Having been in operation for over 20 years, we have a phenomenal wave of guest satisfaction, however, we also like our guests to know which type of paradise they are traveling to. Is it right for you?

What Brings You To Maui?

Are you coming to Maui to find peace and relaxation? You might like to hike to one of our amazing waterfalls. Are you wanting to get away for a second honeymoon or are you looking for an authentic Hawaiian marriage venue? Would you like to go fishing off the ocean rocks, or star gaze upon the Milky Way at night? We offer all of these within beautiful off-grid luxury. If, on the other hand, you are looking for high-end shopping, world class golf courses or tennis on the lawn, you won’t find that here.

What Amenities Can You Expect?

Once at Maui Eco Retreat, you’ll find an amazing ocean view, a well planned separation between cottages, & thoughtfully created landscaping of the focal points of your experience. We purposely brought in high-speed fiber-optic internet that can be turned off at will and to enjoy living in an electro magnetic free field, and to experience a deep rejuvenation of body mind and spirit.

What Kind Of Weather Can You Expect?

In the summertime, almost every day is sunny. On the North Shore, we are often blessed with rain at night and in the early morning, and then with sun during the day. Though wintertime brings the rains, we do have many, many sunny days as well. We also invite you to enjoy other activities, like whale-watching from your lanai. If you’re looking to beat the heat, you’ll want to plan your visit to Maui Eco Retreat during the summer, when the temperature of the North Shore is typically lower than the rest of the island as the Tradewinds keep us comfortable year round. Please consider which amenities and seasons might best suit your needs.

P.S. Living on the North Shore since 1985, we have experienced a drastic weather change within the past few years. Last year we had almost no rain and a drought. At this point, we can no longer predict the weather like summer and winter. However, if you like a vibrant, green nature, you can’t go wrong.

Check Out Our Policies

In staying as a guest at Maui Eco Retreat, I am agreeing to release all employees, property owners, residents, contractors, facilitators and staff, neighbors and leaseholders from any liability of any nature, including but not limited to loss or damage to personal property or personal injury or death. In doing so, I accept full responsibility for myself, my guests or any other persons using the property at my invitation. I have voluntarily and knowingly decided to use the natural pools and hiking trails at Maui Eco Retreat after reading and understanding this release.

Please give special attention if you go to the waterfall and when you pass the bridge. No swimming in the pool when there it is raining. Also, donʼt enter the pool shortly after a big rain. Always look if there are any clouds on the mountain above Makawao. If you are not sure if it is safe just stay above the pool and donʼt swim. Donʼt drive over the bridge if there is water flowing. This happens only about once or twice in a year, and flash flood warnings will be on your iPhone as well.

I waive the possibility of blaming any resulting personal injury or other damage on Maui Eco Retreat, and I release and indemnify them from any and all judgments, claims, costs, liability, and expenses, including medical bills arising out of or in any way connected with my use of Maui Eco Retreat natural pools or hiking trails adjacent to Maui Eco Retreat Property. I acknowledge the risks of injury or drowning associated with natural pools, the ocean or hiking trails, and if nonetheless elect to use the natural pools and hiking rails, I take full responsibility for that decision and any injury, which may result. I accept and assume all risks associated with the use of natural pools, bathtubs, and hiking trails. I forfeit any claim for compensation, which I might otherwise have for any injuries occurring in connection with my use of the Maui Eco Retreat and its natural pools and hiking trails.
